Raising Cane's Grand Opening

Raising Cane's is opening its second Connecticut location in Simsbury next month, debuting Sept. 10 at 546 Bushy Hill Road. The restaurant, which will be in the Simsbury Commons shopping center, offers a double drive-through lane and an outdoor patio.

The chicken chain, founded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 1996, features a simple menu of fried chicken fingers, crinkle-cut French fries and Texas toast. Sides include cole slaw and its signature Cane’s sauce, with a “top secret recipe” that only a few people know.
