9th Annual Litchfield Hills Beer & Wine Fest

Brooker Memorial, St. Maron and Ski Sundown have joined together this year to sponsor the 9th Annual Litchfield Hills Beer & Wine Fest. The event will take place on Saturday June 8, 2019 at Ski Sundown in New Hartford from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door and there is a designated driver ticket for $15. Tickets may be purchased online at skisundown.com. The event will feature an extensive offering of specialty beers, wines, micro-brews, cider and moonshine from more than 70 vendors. Live music will be provided by the band, Root Six. There will be many silent auction and raffle prizes. Food will be available for purchase from a variety of food vendors, including Hot Z’s, Low & Slow, Tots, Brats & Hots and Jimmy’s Store. Also, new to the event this year, columnist and author, Will Siss, known as the “Beer Snob,” will be hosting a special tasting and talk at 2:30 pm. There is no additional fee to attend the talk. This year’s event will support Brooker Memorial’s pediatric dental center, early learning and child care programs and its OT, PT and speech therapy programs. Proceeds will also support St. Maron Church in Torrington and STRIDE, an adaptive sports program that partners with Ski Sundown.
